i have one more card to share that i created for the taylored expressions september release. this card features the new little bits - fall harvest die set & the new door to door fall decor die set. i also used three of the new te premium ink colors - dijon, sweet basil & mulled wine.


i inked up the background with an ink blending tool - the dijon & sweet basil inks blended together nicely. then i assembled all of the little die cuts to create a simple fall scene. lastly i added a sentiment from the previously released c'mon get happy sentiment set.

last week the taylored expressions september release went live - and today i am sharing a card i created with the new woodsy wishes stamp set & its coordinating die set. and one of the new additions to the te premium ink collection also makes an appearance - i used the toffee dye ink to ink up my background.


the cute little deer was stamped & paper pieced then layered atop the coordinating die cut - i used chocolate truffle for the die cut to help add dimension to the stamped image. and the rest of the scene was created with a few previously released dies.

i have one more birthday card to share this month & 3 fun new products are featured on it. i started with the make a wish stamp & die combo for the candles & the sentiment. and my collection of candles are sitting inside the newest addition to the on the road collection - on the road wagon. and to add a bit of interest to the background i used the new streamers embossing folder.


to stamp the candles i used various colors te premium dye ink & then die cut them with the coordinating dies. to create the two-tone flames i stamped the top half of the flame with lemon meringue ink - cleaned off the stamp - then stamped the bottom half of the flame with candy corn ink. i stamped all four flames at the same time using my misti tool - but a large stamping block would work just as well.

today i am sharing a birthday card created with the newest addition to the if _____ could talk collection - if balloons could talk. on this card you also get a glimpse of the new little bits - sequins confetti die & a new addition to the te premium ink collection - pink champagne.



my smiling birthday balloon was stamped & paper pieced then assembled onto the coordinating die cut which i cut from cookie monster cardstock. the fun new sequins are a favorite of mine this month - they were die cut from potato chip cardstock. as i mentioned - more new ink colors this month! i added the pink champagne ink to the corner of my scene with an ink blending tool.

today i am sharing one more halloween card i created for the taylored expressions august release. my card features the new gone batty stamp & die combo. i paper pieced the little bat with a few patterned paper scraps from the new playful patterns - haunted 6x6 paper pack & assembled all the pieces atop the coordinating die cut which was cut from oreo cardstock.

to help create the halloween scene i die cut a few spooky clouds from patterned paper & die cut the little bits - candy corn that my bat is holding on to. the sentiment is from the stamp & die set & was stamped with the new earl grey premium dye ink.

today is august release day over at taylored expressions - all of the new halloween themed products we've been sharing sneak peeks of this week are now available in the te shop.


my release day card features lots of new products! first let's talk about all of the new die cuts on this card - the background die cut scene is the new haunted cutting plate. i added the yellow & gray in the windows with a couple of markers. next is all of the fun elements in the scene - the bats, owl & gravestones are all elements from the new haunted accessories die set. the moon is from the new little bits - moon & stars die set & the strip of grass is the previously released grass border die.


so what patterned paper did i use for all my die cuts? the stripes & polka dots are all from the new playful patterns - haunted 6x6 paper pack. and lastly, the sentiment is from the new boo to you stamp set & was stamped with the new plum punch premium dye ink. see - lots of new products on this card!

taylored expressions is celebrating release week with some fabulous giveaways. visit the te blog each sneak peek day this week to answer Taylor’s Question of the Day for a chance to win a prize from the latest release!

today i am sharing this pair halloween treat holders created with the previously released test tube caddy craft die & a couple of new halloween themed little bits die sets. and for a bit of added interest i pulled out a couple of te embossing folders.


behind each test tube i added a strip of embossed cardstock using the new fright night flight embossing folder & the previously released tangled webs embossing folder. the embossed cardstock strip is a super quick & easy way to add a bit of dimension & interest to each caddy.


i assembled the new little bits - cauldron & little bits - spider & web die cuts & then added a touch of glitter to the brewing potion & the spider. to help create the two little scenes i used the log die cut from the new by the fireside die set & i used a bit of white thread to hang the spider from his web. the "eek!" sentiment is new this month & is from the boo to you sentiment set. the "boo" sentiment is from the previously released peek-a-boo pumpkins stamp set.
