my first card for today was created with the new heart of hearts stamp & die combo. this new stamp & die combo set has several heart images & two coordinating craft dies. the heart focal point of my card was stamped & then colored in with markers. then i cut out the heart with a die from the new stitched heart stacklets die set.
the banner die cut is one of the coordinating dies in the stamp & die combo - and i heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. the embossed background was created with the new paisley embossing folder.
my next card was created with my new favorite stamp set - stitch by stitch. this set features several cross stitch designs along with coordinating sentiments. also new this month is an embroidery hoop craft die that coordinates with the stamp images perfectly. i'll have a project created with it on thursday.
i stamped the cross stitched cat with gray distress ink & added a small die cut heart that was cut with the smallest die in the previously released heart stacklets set. my cat is sitting atop the banner from the build a tag 3 die set - i stacked a couple of cardstock banner die cuts under the top banner for a bit of added dimension & color.
