today begins our taylored expressions december sneak peeks! this month the release features lots of new love & valentine themed products. all new products will be available for purchase on thursday, december 10th at 7am pst. and be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post for details about the december release giveaways!
up first is a valentine's day card i created with the new love & be mine banners die set. the die set is two banner dies - the 'be mine' shown on my card as well as a 'love' banner. also new are the sequins on the tree that coordinate with the previously released formula for love matched kit.
my 'be mine' banner was cut from poppy seed cardstock & is tied to a tree that is die cut from a patterned paper found in the formula for love 6x6 paper pack - the tree die is part of the build a scene - winter trees set. to create the pink grass i inked up the cardstock with a bit of distress ink & let it dry well before adding the machine stitching.
next is a fun card i created with the new little bits - pb&j die set and the new little bits - spare parts die set. the pb&j set comes with a die for the bread & a die for the topping. the spare parts dies create a bunch of little faces, arms & legs to add to die cut or stamped images. also new this month is the we go together sentiment stamp set that can be used with several of the new little bits die sets.
to create my little pb&j guys i die cut the bread from marshmallow felt & the all the other pieces from scraps of cardstock. i built the scene inside a square i die cut with the stitched square stacklets & the hills were embossed with the new swiss hearts embossing folder (which you can see better in the first photo).
