today begins our taylored expressions february sneak peeks - this month is all about easter bunnies & spring. the new products will be available for purchase on thursday, february 5th at 7am pst. and be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post for details on a giveaway.
the easter card i created for today is one of my favorites this month. the design is super simple even though i used 15 different te products! this card shows off 3 new craft dies joining the little bits collection, 2 new embossing folders, 1 new craft die set, a sentiment from a new rubber stamp set & a new cardstock color - everything is linked below.
my favorite detail on this card is the embossing i created with two new embossing folders on the carrot top & the chocolate bunny. i used the new leafy vine embossing folder for the carrot top & the new dotted lattice embossing folder for the bunny - he's one of three bunny dies in the new hippity hop die set.
my second card features a new stamp joining the you've got mail collection. at first glance it may not seem so since there is not a mailbox - i left it out when i paper pieced the scene. i thought the little bunny & pots of flowers made a nice little scene on their own.
i kept with the mail theme and framed the bunny scene using the postage stamp stacklets die set. i used a craft knife to cut the rectangle out of the plum punch die cut to create a frame. i wanted the paper pieced scene to sit behind the frame instead of atop it. and i just noticed that the little pearl on one of my yellow flowers is trying to escape - oops!

These cards are so cute!! Love all the care and effort you take in your paper-piecing!! I also TOTALLY noticed the dry-embossing you did on your first card!! You are so detail-oriented!! LOVE IT!!!
