my first project for today is a tag i created with the newest addition to the build a tag collection - build a tag 2. to create the little scene i used the new stamp set tag-a-long - valentine & the tag-a-long - valentine dies. to add a bit of interest to the white tag i embossed it with the new diagonal stripe embossing folder.


this little guy was stamped onto cardstock, cut out & then pieced together. the stamp image has a little heart which i covered up with an enamel heart accent. the love banner that he is standing on was created with dies from two craft die sets - the rectangle with the love sentiment is part of the tag-a-long - valentine die set & the banner tabs i placed behind the rectangle are part of the build a tag 2 die set.

my second project for today features the stamp set love you more that comes with a coordinating 'love' die. i also used the new craft die set chemical reaction to create the beaker shaker element - and the 'love' die cut fits perfectly inside the bottom of the beaker. 

to create the shaker element i die cut the beaker background from a piece of patterned paper found in the the formula for love 6x6 paper pack - i thought all the little circles looked like bubbles. then i nested the two beaker dies & cut the cardstock frame. instead of using foam tape to seal up the shaker i used the the nested dies to cut a frame from pink foam - this gives the shaker the height it needs for all the sequins to move around.

So cute!! Especially love that beaker shaker card! Great idea to stack layers of paper for the shaker instead of using foam tape or fun foam!!
