today is the second day of the taylored expressions august release sneak peeks & you have another chance to win the giveaway on the te blog. my first card for today is a little road trip scene i created with the new every which way craft die set paired with a few previously released dies. all of the new stampes & dies we are using this week will be available for purchase thursday at 7am pdt.


my denim car was die cut with one of the every which way dies - then i inlaid a felt heart using the tiniest heart die from the heart stacklets set. and i had some larger than normal black rhinestones from a while back that i used for the wheels. finished off the card with a sentiment from the new every which way rubber stamp set.

my second card for today is made entirely with new craft die sets - the mini caps alpha & #s set and the little bits - kite set. although this is a very simple design it took me forever to decide on a color scheme/patterned paper. after playing around with several colors i ended up with simple black & white with a bit of color.


the card elements were quick to die cut - just had to run the alphas through twice to get two of the letter 'l'. and the kite die set is actually 3 dies so you can cut all the pieces in one crank of the machine. added a few jewels to the kite to finish it off.
