today is the last day of the taylored expressions june sneak peeks - all the new rubber stamp sets & craft dies will be available for purchase in the te shop tomorrow at 7am pdt - & don't forget to visit the te blog for giveaway details.
my first project for today shows off the wash.dry.repeat rubber stamp set & its coordinating craft die set. lots of household icons appear in these sets - cooking & you know, fun stuff like cleaning.
to create my first card i used the banner stacklets 3 as the background for the little scene. i wanted to use some sort of paper or fabric for the 'carpet' that looked semi-realistic & all i could come up with was a strip of burlap. then i die cut/paper pieced the vacuum & added a small piece of cord i found in the jewelery aisle of my local craft store.
my second project for today features the rubber stamp set the little things & a sentiment from the new rubber stamp set notable blooms. a simple card with a bit of coloring & a few rhinestones.
i stamped the sentiment & flower image onto white cardstock & then did a bit of coloring with spectrum noir markers - nothing too fancy as i'm still learning how to color with markers properly. i trimmed down the white cardstock to fit onto the gray card base & added a few rhinestones to the flower centers.
