today is the second day of taylored expressions june release sneak peeks & another chance to win the giveaway on the te blog. my first card today features a previously released stamp set bikes & trikes along with the new craft die set to coordinate - also called bikes & trikes. the june release will be available for purchase thursday at 7am pdt.
i used one of the new bikes & trikes dies to cut the moped image from pink patterned paper - then used the coordinating stamp from the bikes & trikes stamp set to create a paper pieced image. to finish it off i added enamel dots for the tires & a little wood veneer birdie.
my second card for today features the new stamp set you are here & the previously released set stars & stripes w/coordinating die. these two sets work together perfectly - the flag usa map image & coordinating die in the stars & stripes set is the same size as the outlined usa stamp image in the new you are here set.
to create my usa map i used distress markers to color the flag stamp, added a spritz of water & then stamped. after it was dry i added a bit of distress ink to the edges & then stamped over the image with the outline stamp in black. finally i die cut the stamped usa map alomg with a couple more cuts from red & blue cardstock & stacked them all up.

Wow. Love the paper-pieced scooter!! Thought it was great that you used the die to create a pink shadow!

Such a cute scooter card. My 88 year old father rides one around town on the back roads. It would be a hoot to make him a card with this die.
