this week is the taylored expressions june sneak peek & release week. the release for this month is a bit larger than usual with lots of new rubber stamp sets & craft die sets - everything will be available for purchase on thursday, june 5th at 7am pdt. and be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post for details on a giveaway.
my first card for this week features the new sentiment stamp big bold summer along with two new craft die sets which are part of a new die collection called little bits. the little bits dies are perfectly sized for cards or project life spreads.
i used the large sentiment stamp as the focal point of my card then created a little scene with the little bits - umbrella & little bits - sun & clouds die sets. not only is this scene great for a card to send off to a friend after a summer adventure - but it would also make a great summer mini album cover or title page.
my second card for today was super quick & simple and again features a little bits die set - little bits - flowers & stems. the sentiment is also from a new set - the peeking in rubber stamp set.
the little flower was die cut from scraps of patterned paper i had in my scrap bin & i added an enamel dot for a bit of dimension. and that curved piece cut from kraft cardstock - it is a negative piece from a die cut that would normally be thrown out. i used a new pockets & pages craft die called pocket pages - 3x4 circle showcase - and the new little bits dies work perfectly with it.
