today is another day of taylored expressions april release sneak peeks & another chance to win the giveaway on the te blog. my card today features the new stamp set sunshiny day & the new craft die set label stacklets 8 which will be available for purchase on thursday at 7am pdt.
a bit of paper piecing on this card to create the scene inside the label die cut. before die cutting the label shape i adhered the background papers to a scrap piece of printer paper - then i stamped & pieced together the tree. next is when i used the label die so that it would chop off the right side of the tree perfectly. you could always just trim off the overhang - but i like the way the die creates a beveled edge.
