today i am sharing a sneak peek of two new stamp sets and two new craft dies that are part of the taylored expressions january release. this month there a bunch of new stamp sets and craft dies perfect for valentine's day and will all be available for purchase on thursday, january 9th at 7am pst.

my first card for today shows off a sentiment from the big bold valentine sentiment set and one of the heart craft dies from the heart stacklets set. 

here's a close-up of the stamping and embossing that i did.i used distress embossing powder to give the stamped sentiment a bit of a waethered look. and i used a bunch of tiny brads to make it look like the heart is nailed to the card base.

and my second card for today features the new sack it owl die paired with the previously released sack it to you die set for his body. i also used a sentiment from the new sack it sentiments set. 

to create the owl i die-cut his body using a portion of the sack it to you die then pieced together all of his parts that i had die-cut from various patterned papers using the sack it owl die set. in the close-up you can kind of see how i popped up the sentiment that i stamped onto the label die-cut.
