this week i'm sharing another card i created with the taylored expressions november stamp of the month - in the garden. a bit of paper piecing and a few sequins and this card came together pretty easily - when stamping the jars i used a stamp-a-ma-jig so that a heart/hearts would fill each jar.

a bit of fabric & and the taylored expressions apron & pocket die are the focus of my card today. i kept the stamping to just the sentiment so that the die cut fabric apron would be the center of attention.

to create the apron i die cut it twice from two coordinating fabrics - then i chopped off the top half of the flower apron and layered it on top of the striped apron - fabric-tak works awesome to adhere fabric. i added the embroidery floss to hide the top of the flower fabric - then used one strand of floss to sew on the pocket.

today I'm sharing a card i created with the taylored expressions november stamp of the month - in the garden. the little mason jar & sentiment are both part of this month's stamp set. i also used the coordinating die set - patio party - and patterned paper from the november key ingredients kit. here's a quick run down of how the card came together:

1. trim cardstock, round corners, adhere to card base
2. die-cut scallops and attach with mini staples
3. stamp jar onto vellum
4. die-cut jar from vellum & patterned paper, layer, adhere
5. die-cut flower from 2 patterned papers, layer, adhere
6. trim craft wire, attach behind flowers and slip between jar layers
7. apply enamel dot and stamp sentiment

and day 3 of the taylored expression sneak peeks is here. i have two more projects to share today using two new stamp sets - falling for you & certified mail art - which will be available in the te shop tomorrow at 7am pst.

my first card today features the falling for you  stamp set - a set previously available only to key ingredient subscribers. and there are coordinating falling for you dies which i used to die-cut the apple shape. the apple core was stamped onto grid patterned paper and then i added enamel accents to the seeds to make them shine a bit.

 

my second project today is another card created with stamps from the falling for you stamp set along with a coordinating envelope. the little birds are paper pieced and i used the cork sheet yet again. this time i die-cut the cork with two of the new label stacklets 7 dies to create a frame.

 

and a matching envelope featuring the new certified mail art stamp set. all images - except for the little bird - are part of the certified mail art stamp set. this set has several images perfect for creating envelopes to coordinate with any card.

i'm back for day 2 of the taylored expressions november sneak peeks. i have two projects to share today using new dies - bottled up & rock on - which will be available in the te shop on thursday.

my first project uses the bottled up die and coordinates with the wine suite of products new this month. i decided to mix it up a bit and show that the die is useful for any bottled gift - such as a soda bottle full of flowers.

 

here's a close-up of the tag. i used the cork sheet again and die-cut it with one of the new label stacklets 7 dies. to add rays to the sun - because stamping yellow ink on cork doesn't work too well - i hand stitched with embroidery floss.

 

and my second project features the rock on dies that coordinate with the you're my hero stamp set. and that 3x4 photo frame - it's part of the pockets & pages line of products new this month.

 

here's a close-up shot of my card. you can see that i heat embossed the image on black patterned paper then die-cut. the die is open in the middle so super easy to line up with the embossed image. i also heat embossed the blue splatters in the corner. oh, and the microphone cord - that's a bit of leather cording i found in the bead section of my local craft store.
