back to the drawing board

i've been wanting to make one of these tim holtz configurations shadow boxes for oh about 2 years now. during a class with tim this summer i was able to put one together - then the plan was when i got home i was going to make a smaller halloween themed one. i searched around and found everything i wanted to put inside of it - but it just didn't happen. so i figured i'd try for a christmas themed one based off of tim's holiday happenings project. finished it up on christmas eve :)

i've been focusing most of my crafting energy on not only keeping up with my project life album - but a december daily album as well. wasn't sure if i'd be able to pull it off but it's looking like i will be able to make it happen.

so the other night i stumbled upon this blog post - and here's what i came up with for the challenge. i started with some paper, twine, and a die-cut found in this month's studio calico kits - then added a hero arts/sizzix stamp & die-cut set, some paint and a few other craft supplies to create this snowman canvas.
