a happy valentine's day welcome home flower that i made this weekend. i stumbled upon some new unfinished wood items at the craft store recently and the petals on this flower looked like hearts to me - so i decided to decorate it for the holiday. i used glimmer mist to paint the pot portion - so in real life it's quite glimmery. everything else was inked up with distress ink which also doesn't show that well with the bright light in the photo. trust me though - by the time i finished up my hands were quite inky and glittery.
