back to the drawing board

 

 so i'm back again. a few things to note...

• 7 more school weeks until spring break
• it might snow on wednesday = SNOW DAY
• i'm gonna go do this sometime soon
• i can't stop listening to
• big love is back, finally
• one project in this months paper crafts magazine

 

alright. i guess it's time that i start posting some valentine's day cards. here's one that was quick to put together. i used the "xoxo" part of purple onion designs love noteblock stamp. before cutting out each letter i embossed them with cranberry embossing powder by ranger. be sure to check the purple onion blog later this week. michele is going to start posting our projects for this month soon. school starts back again tomorrow. 8 weeks 'til spring break! this is always, the longest, boringest part of the year. i'll just keep crossing my fingers and hoping for lots of snow days.

and here's another recent pub. this one was in the december issue of cards magazine. i still have to post my card from the jan/feb paper crafts magazine. but it's a valentine's day card, so i might wait 'til february for that one. i've been working on a bunch of projects this week, but have to wait a bit to share them.

i've had no life the past 4 days. won't have one again for another week or so. why? one word: midterms. but i did have 3 cards published in paper crafts most recent special issue, card creations quick & easy vol 2. of the 3, i think this birthday card is my favorite.

gotta get caught up on posting projects that have recently been published. this one was in the november issue of cards magazine.

i'm back. i swear. just decided to take a break from making anything and totally reorganized my area. that took like 3 days. here's an art project i did right before christmas. the canvas' are about 5 by 5. i found them in the dollar spot at michael's. they aren't very sturdy, but did the job.

and since i was gone for so long i'll post a christmas card that didn't make it up during the holiday season. actually made this one right around thanksgiving time. i bought the making memories slice back then and wanted to try it out. the purple scalloped square was cut with the slice. haven't really used it since then, but i like it and think i'll get some use out of it. i'll be back again tomorrow. i swear.
