back to the drawing board

i don't know why i like this basicgrey paper so much. i really don't have a reason to need paper with dinosaurs on it. but i liked it, so i bought it. and then i had the idea to do a frame, but i needed something 3-dimensional to add to it. so i ordered the matching chipboard shapes which finally arrived over the weekend. and here's the finished project. usually i paint the frame before adhering the paper, but this frame looked just fine without any paint. just sanded the edges a bit after the glue dried.

this is a super quick card i made over spring break. when i was in dc i found some papers by bam pop - first time i had seen them in person. i liked the robots, so i bought a bunch. this robot guy is from their volume 2 collection. and the "i love you" was cut from a scenic route border sticker strip. didn't have much time to make anything this weekend. yesterday i started off the day at a jv baseball game that lasted four hours and was finally called because varsity needed to play. then i went and bought some new school clothes, came home and met my new neighbors puppy, and finally got back to my place around 8. and now today i have to clean my place and then tutor for like 6 hours.

so i got these new papers from sassafras lass a couple of weeks ago. they have a scalloped edge on the bottom so i don't have to pull out my scalloped scissors and try to get a perfect cut. i was finishing this card up out in the lounge tonite. i was going to put pink jewels in the center of the flowers, but one of the guys thought blue would look better. so tiny blue stickers it is.
