i'm back, but i'm leaving again tomorrow for dc. last week was horribly busy. i had grades to get done before taking off friday afternoon for corning. and then we spent the weekend learning glass blowing. it was a lot of fun, but i'm definitely not going to get rich off of it anytime soon. but, i going to try and keep at it. it'll get me out off campus and out into the real world, or at least brooklyn anyways. there's a studio there called urban glass and i'm gonna check it out next week. so here's what i did the first day of working with glass. and thanks to our awesome teachers peter and aaron i actually ended up with something resembling a flower. all you have to do is take a blob of molten glass and pull on it with tweezers, really big tweezers, to get this...
