a couple of cards recently published in paper crafts magazine. the happy holidays card appears in the special issue 365 cards & the merry christmas card appears in the november/december issue.
here is today's card that went up over at the jane's doodles blog. to make the trees i turned a triangle banner upside down. the design idea was borrowed from a card i had published in the paper crafts magazine special issue holiday cards & more earlier this year - if you have the issue it's on p19.

here are a couple of cards i made for today's blog hop featuring the newest stamp set from jane's doodles - vintage christmas.
both of these cards have some texture added to the stamped images. after coloring santa's hat with a marker i added a bit of white fluffy flock. as for the happy snowman - his hat was cut from felt, his scarf is a scrap of fabric, and his arms are twigs from the yard.
to start back at the beginning of the blog hop head on over to jane's blog.
one commenter along the hop will win the vintage christmas set - so be sure to leave a comment on each blog you visit to increase you chances of winning.
and the next stop along the hop is one of this month's guest designers - nichol.
