the moxie fabs column in the may/june issue of paper crafts magazine is all about the chevron stripe. searching through my pile of supplies i didn't have much that would fit the project requirements - so i pulled out my trusty silhouette. to create the chevron striped presents was a 2 step process...
- with silhouette cut chevron stripe pattern from colored cardstock and presents from a contrasting color cardstock.
- adhere chevron stripes to presents and trim excess cardstock from the edges. die-cut bows and adhere to chevron striped presents.
and if you feel like playing around with some chevron stripes be sure to check out the chevron chic challenge over on the moxie fab world blog. of the projects currently linked up for the challenge here are a few of my favorites...
supplies
cardstock, digital die-cut files, sentiment stamp, ink and machine stitchig. for more details please see page 25 of the may/june paper crafts magazine.
